Here are important dates for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, Wolverines! 🎒📆​

New Student Registration

• Tuesday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 5, 2026
• 8:00 AM-11:00 AM and 12:00 PM-2:30 PM
  • If your child is new to Widefield School District, please register online first
    (Please use a desktop or laptop to complete registration)

Sports Physical Night

• Monday, August 3, 2026
• 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • $30 cash only
  • Watson Big Gym

Watson Back to School Event

• Friday, August 7, 2026
  • 8th Grade 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • 7th Grade 12:00 PM-1:00 PM
  • 6th Grade 1:00 PM-2:00 PM
    • Get your schedule, take your school picture, tour the school, try your locker, take care of paperwork, meet your teachers!
    • Start in the Big Gym
    • Parents are welcome to attend but are not required
    • If you have students in multiple grades, pick the time that works best for your family

First Day of School for 6th Grade only

• Monday, August 10, 2026
  • Entry bell rings at 7:18 AM
  • The 6th grade morning area is on the west side of the building, near the softball field

First Day of School for 7th & 8th Grade

• Tuesday, August 11, 2026
  • Entry bell rings at 7:18 AM
  • The drop off area for 7th and 8th grade is the east side of the building, near the Big Gym
