Watson offers a wide variety of academic and athletic clubs daily. Pay attention to the KWJH News and the Watson AYPYN calendar for current clubs to join. Remember, all students must have the AYPYN After School Club Permission Slip filled out and on file with Watson to join any clubs.

Below are some of the clubs that are at Watson:

• Open Gym
• Drama Club
• Dungeons & Dragons Clubs
• Show Choir Pop Club
• Creative Writing Club
• Chess Club
• Yoga and Journaling Club
• Prodigy Math Club
• Robotics Club
• Escape Room Club

Clubs begin at 3:00 and end at either 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. depending on the club. The main office is open until 3:30 p.m. for parents/guardians to pick up students. After 3:30 p.m., students may call parents or guardians.

If a student needs to be released early, students need to make arrangements directly with the club sponsor ahead of time or have parent permission.

A great advantage to the AYPYN clubs at Watson is that they are flexible. If you are interested in an activity that is not sponsored, please see the AYPYN Director, Mr. Thomas, and then find a teacher who will be your club sponsor. Many teachers are open to sponsoring new clubs!
