To organize and carry out school activities and service projects through sound leadership practices.

Requirements of Skills in Leadership Students
- To be eligible, a student must have “C” average or above in scholarship and no D’s or F’s during the previous semester. The administration reserves the right to refuse S.I.L. membership to any student not displaying appropriate citizenship.
- If a member fails to uphold the requirements of the council after he or she has been selected, that member is subject to dismissal, and a replacement may be considered.
- Applications are filled out in the Spring of the prior school year and all selections are made before the end of that school year.
- Approximately twenty members will be chosen to serve on S.I.L for the entire academic year.
